If you're not feeling it today, you're not alone.

I was at the gym exercising my with my damaged and crusty hands.

Every single rep hurt way more in my fingers than in my muscles.

Why keep working out?

Why keep going?

I could've decided to have a nice rest day, because I deserve it.

After all my hands got fked from working hard.

So why not rest until my hands are healed?

Or at least don't hurt anymore?

Because this is not just about building muscle and lifting heavier.

This is about far more than just the gainz.

It's a fight.

It's a mental battle.

And I'm in it to win.

In today's Vision I will be writing about Mindset and why it is everything you will ever have in your life.

The Garden of Eden

You wake up on a beautiful Friday morning.

You open the rusty gate and take a stroll down your land to see how things are going.

Your stop and take a look at your priced flowers.

Your roses are vibrant and beautiful, as you tend to them daily.

Your violets are doing okay, but you know you should water them more often.

And your tulips could use some fertilizer once in a while.

You decide to leave your flowers for now and walk across the paths towards your fields.

There are different types of fruits and vegetables to collect.

It's quite a bit of work to harvest them, but the yield makes it worth it.

It's not a lot today, but enough to get you through a few days.

It's slowly starting to get late, so you decide to head back.

But before you go, you take a last glance onto your field of flowers, take out a bottle of poison and start pouring it onto your plants.

...

What are you doing?

You spent all that time on your garden, but decide to poison your crops?

Why would you do that?

This is obviously ridiculous and nobody would ever do such a foolish thing, right?...

Right?!

You'd be surprised.

This plot of land that you just walked around on is your life.

The flowers, trees and crops that you've been planting and watering are habits that benefit your life.

And the poison you just poured is killing the good.

It's an anti-seed.

It's the habits that destroy your hard work.

Let's take going to the gym:

  • You go to the gym (watering your plants)

  • Eat like crap and drink alcohol (anti-seed/poison)

You're actually destroying what you're building because "it's the weekend" and you deserve a cheat.

This doesn't make sense.

And of course it doesn't!

On one side you want to get better and on the other side you're actively sabotaging yourself.

Your focus is split.

That's no good.

Something has to change.

And there is one key element that needs to change.

Your mindset defines your life

You're not where you want to be in life, because you don't believe you should be.

You don't have time to what you want to do, because you don't want it enough.

  • "But I want to make a living with art."

  • "But I want to lose weight."

  • "But I want to have the chiseled body of an ancient Greek God."

And yet at the same time you cultivate bad habits:

  • Drinking

  • Smoking

  • Porn

  • Video Games

  • Gambling

  • Junk Food

  • Watching the News

Your bad habits keep fkn up your life.

They give you reasons not to do stuff.

When it comes to putting in the reps, your mind suddenly finds excuses why you shouldn't.

  • I have no time

  • I don't have what it takes

  • I don't have [The Thing] I need

  • I'm too busy with [Something]

  • My life is too complicated at the moment

  • I'm fine the way I am

  • I'm too tired

99% of the time, these are just random excuses.

But these excuses can "magically" vanish if you reprogram your believes.

The thing that you need is a mindset switch.

How to change your mindset

The root of your problems: your toxic mindset.

To change the rotten mindset, you first need to understand where it came from.

Let's go back to the garden analogy...

Who planted the first seeds?

!Spoiler alert!

It wasn't you.

Matter of fact is, it was everybody BUT you.

These seeds were planted by your parents, peers and others you grew up with.

And you, like anyone else didn't just get the magic beans planted in their garden.

No. You likely got a wide arrange of plants in your mind-garden.

There's roses, apples, soy, nettles and blackberries.

It wasn't you who put these plants there.

But now it's your responsibility to:

  • Weed out the shitty

  • Cultivate the beneficial

Realizing that the garden of your mind needs to change is the first step.

This realization opens your mind to change.

Once you are open to change, you can start to cultivate new plants.

This can be very hard to do if you're just starting out, so the easiest way to get new beautiful flowers into your garden is by getting them from others.

For this I recommend our collective human consciousness - the internet.

It's the library of Alexandria.

Use this resource to your advantage.

How?

There are a few simple steps you should follow to reprogram your mind:

- Figure out what life you want to live (Plants you want in your garden)

- Find people who are talking about exactly that (People who have the seed)

- Consume their content (Plant the seeds)

- Execute on the ideas (Nurture the seeds)

It's important to notice that just watching someone for 5 minutes is often not enough to cultivate new ideas.

More often than not you need to get OBSESSED with the topic at hand.

Your mind needs to store the information into your unconscious.

This is how you reprogram your mind.

Once your mind is reprogramed, you will have a way easier time to choose according to your values.

So if you reprogram your mind to having the mindset of an athlete, it will be an easy choice between drinking a Coke or a Protein Shake.

Right now I want you stop reading this.

Close your eyes.

And look deep into your self.

Are you ready to change yourself?

This means that you will have to make a choice in your life.

Do you want to keep wasting your time with watching mind-numbing content, or are you going to slowly improve your life by only entertaining thoughts that will get you were you wanna be.

Choose wisely.

So in conclusion

To summarize the essence of this vision:

The reason why you're stuck, moving nowhere is simply because your mind doesn't care enough about what you want to achieve in life.

To get unstuck you will need to reprogram your mind by consuming content that is aligned with the goals you have.

This in turn will help you act in accordance to your believes.

This switch is essential.

Believe in yourself and the doors will open to you.

Thanks for being part of this Vision.

I wish a lovely day.

Love ya,

- Malkas
